Donor Ethics
Donor contribution and commitment
Every donation is an expression of trust in the cause and in the platform. That is why we work to provide reliable information and clear accountability for every campaign.
To publish a medical campaign, we require documents confirming the patient's condition and the necessary treatment.
To guarantee transparency, information about completed payments is published on the corresponding campaign — including the recipient and the amount transferred.
Management and transfer of donated funds
Funds are spent only for purposes related to the approved campaign. Payments are made:
- to the beneficiary's donor account;
- directly to a medical facility or supplier via a proforma invoice;
- as reimbursement of proven expenses incurred after the campaign was approved.
Eligible expenses include treatment, medicine, transport, lodging, and other services directly related to the campaign.
For treatment outside Bulgaria, payments are made directly to the relevant medical professional or facility.
Payments without the required documentation and justification may be refused. All approved payments are published for transparency.
If the beneficiary dies, the funds are used for related costs, and the remainder is donated to other campaigns.
Non-medical campaigns
This includes all causes outside medicine — education, sport, culture, personal initiatives, travel, and others.
For these, funds are used only for the purpose stated in the campaign and upon presentation of the necessary proof of expenses.
The platform may refuse a campaign if dishonesty is suspected and may require proof of expenses already incurred. All approved payments are published on the campaign with the stated amount.
