Cookie Policy

Last updated: 28 August 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Kapka Zhivot Foundation, UIC/EIK 208627658 (the "Foundation", "we") uses cookies and similar technologies on kapkajivot.bg (the "Platform"). It should be read with the Privacy Policy.

1. What cookies and similar technologies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. Similar technologies include the browser's local storage. We use them so the Platform can function — sign-in, language, security and payments.

2. What we use today

We use only strictly necessary cookies and similar storage. Without them the Platform cannot provide sign-in, a secure session, language preference, card donations or remembering that you have seen this notice.

We do not currently use analytics, advertising or marketing cookies, pixels or similar tracking technologies. If that changes, we will update this Policy and, where the law requires, ask for consent before setting them.

3. Technologies we use

Sign-in session (Auth.js) Type: HTTP cookie. Purpose: keep you signed in and maintain a secure session. Duration: session or until the session expires. Basis: strictly necessary.

Interface language Type: cookie and/or page URL. Purpose: show the selected language (Bulgarian, English or Turkish). Basis: strictly necessary.

dlf-cookie-consent Type: browser local storage, not an HTTP cookie. Purpose: remember that you have seen the cookie notice so we do not show it again. Duration: until you delete it or change device. Basis: strictly necessary.

Stripe Type: third-party cookies and technologies, only if you pay by card. Purpose: secure payment processing and fraud prevention. Stripe policy: stripe.com/privacy. Basis: strictly necessary for card payment.

Google Type: third-party cookies, only if you choose Google sign-in. Purpose: authentication. Google policy: policies.google.com/privacy. Basis: strictly necessary for that function.

4. The site banner

On a first visit we show an information notice that we use only strictly necessary technologies. This is not consent to analytics or advertising, because those technologies are not used. "Got it" hides the notice. You can learn more on this page.

5. Browser controls

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block strictly necessary ones, sign-in, language or card donations may not work.

Local storage is cleared from the browser's site-data settings.

6. Updates

We may update this Policy if cookie use changes. The "Last updated" date reflects the current version.
